I've just moved here and I'm looking for a good Japanese restaurant by my house. I live right off Granville and Broadway and there's a baffling number of options. Rather than try them all, I'd like a recommendation. I know about Tojo's but I'm not interested in high-end fine dining, just a good affordable place for a weeknight dinner.

Many of these places have pretty middling reviews on dinehere.ca. I've heard good things about Opera. Any recommendations?
